Some argue that teaching at large is a science, some that it is an art. And still, others argue that it is a little of both plus a craft. As to being a science, it is thoroughly clear that there are ways of doing EFL teaching (strategies, practices…) that research has shown to be effective in boosting learning (knowledge, skills and competencies); as to teaching being an art, teaching EFL shows how teachers work creative ways to enhance learning, thus making students enjoy learning.
